I am a data enthusiast, I love using data and technology to solve problems. I held a degree in Economics, and I spent most of my time in the past few months learning deeply about Data Analysis. So far I have developed an understanding of how to works with data such as Cleaning data, Extracting data from database with SQL, Create a good visualization, Analyze data, and Gather insight from the data. I'm always learning and experimenting with new software and techniques, because I love the idea of being able to use multiple tools or softwares.
My interest in Data started when I learned more deeply about statistics, I find that Data could help us in many different ways. For example, it could help us Analyze what happens in our business, what aspect of our business is wrong, predict the things that could happen, spot a pattern, find out why certain things happens, etc. and these things could really made a big difference in decision making. With all the data we have, we could see more clearly or even see something we are unable to see without data. For that reason I started learning Data Analysis and I wanted to pursue a career that involves data.
As someone who want to pursue a career in Data, my plan is to keep learning and developing my skills so I can work effectively with data, solve problems, and help people/company achieve their goals. To be able to analyze data I think there are some fundamental skills that I need to master, that skills are: Statistical Concepts Understanding, Programming Language skills (SQL, Python, R, etc.), Using Visualization Tool/BI Tool (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) , Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Storytelling. Right now, I possess all those skills, and I feel I am ready to take the next step, which is to bring my skills into real world. I'm also aware that the use of AI and machine learning is growing massively and I definitely want to be involved in that later on.
